  1. Factor graduates lack the skills to be a major driver of this problem exists. Youth we are only exposed to the concepts of both theories in school or when the universiti.Sebagai result, our youth lack the skills to think and analyze things, speaking in tongues, and less skill to interact with the community . The majority of companies need more training to practice and not theory-oriented too exclusively mata.Biasanya employers tend to select employees according to their perception of having a certain uniqueness, especially in foreign language proficiency and knowledge of computers. Usually employers want experienced workers.

  2. hello..ok..you have many point...in my opinion, the unemployment among graduates is caused by field of study that are not a needs in the job market. employment opportunities are open usually in certain areas only. So, for graduates who took the field that does not create job opportunities will be struggling to find work. In conclusion, the selection of field of study is very important and necessary in accordance with the current job market.

Firstly, the cause of unemployed graduates nowadays is the incompatibility in the focus of higher education institutions and the needs of labor market. The reason for that is lack in compatibility as compared to the situation twenty years ago. In addition, there is an increase of competitiveness and volatility in the labor market. The work environment nowadays require graduates. to have some work experiences in order to the requirement of qualified employee. Besides that, incompatibility in the knowledge acquired in higher education institution is one of the factor.

The changing of the economic structure and landscape is a probable cause for the rise in the unemployment. For many years, the manufacturing has been the strongest sector in the country until it is now being progressively replaced by the services sector. The services sector requires people who do not only possess the right technical knowledge, but also those who possess the right soft skills – interpersonal, communication, wisdom, maturity and are business oriented. Now, getting graduates with that kind of quality is a tough endeavor these days. It is even hard to find graduates who can speak moderate English. .Additionally, unlike the manufacturing sector, a company providing services would not require a large number of staff to be employed. Statistics show that between 2006 and 2007, the country’s manufacturing employment grew by 3%, from 3.244 million workers, to 3.347 million. The business services sector employment, on the other hand grew by 2.6%, from 0.771 million, to 0.791 million. Now, where GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth is concerned, the manufacturing growth recorded 3.1% whereas services tops the chart with a thumping 9% growth. In English, this means that while the employment growth of services sector is lower compared to manufacturing, it is actually contributing to much higher economic achievement.
